Tryin’ hard to look like Gary Cooper. Super-duper.

 Hello, little man!

A few months ago Sister Kristin had to deal with her one year old puppy, Titus, passing away. He was a good little guy who just liked to chew too much. It was horrible and heart-wrenching. We cried.

It’s been a few months, and Sister Kristin felt it was time to get a new little puppy friend. Luckily, the breeder where she adopted Titus mentioned that he had another litter coming soon – and that they would be relatives of Titus. Perfect!

Friday night we had a “Welcome to the Family” party at our house, with our newest addition. Say hello to Cooper.

Grady is used to being the very cutest thing in existence, so when he was confronted  with Coop he wasn’t so full of happiness. In fact, he hid behind Daddy 1’s legs…

…but finally got down to say hello. While sticking his tongue out.

After the requisite sniffing of bottoms the two cousins ran each other ragged, up and down chez Chris2fer. Cooper was just FASCINATED with Grady’s toys…

…to Grady’s obvious chagrin and eventual grudging acceptance. (Again with the tongue.)

Cooper ended up chasing Grady under the coffee table in his zeal to love him. I’m sure Grady doesn’t remember that he was the same way when we brought him home: a little poop.

Coop crawled up on the sofa to practice being cute.

It was a successful night, as both of our little friends collapsed, as only puppies and little babies can do.

Welcome, Cooper. You’ll fit right in.

Hello, I love your pictures. I sometimes use pictures like these to illustrate my blog, which happens to be about economics. The pics add a bit of humor and spice. Please check out my entry from today (2/12/08) using your photo (I’ll be posting it shortly), and let me know if it’s okay with you. If not, I will take it off. I did add a link to yours.
