An Explosion of Fall Color.
I made cranberry sauce for the first time ever. It was a beautiful, amazing thing. First, bring one cup of water and one cup of sugar to boil. Then, mix in 4 cups of cranberries. They will burst with tiny explosions of flavor! Boil more. Voila, sauce. Now, taste. Grimace. Add 2 cups more sugar. Taste again. Frown. Present to your family for Thanksgiving dinner. Ignore the horrified looks when they taste it. Throw it away.
